JEREMY + ANN

What do you do when a hurricane is on the forecast for your wedding day?

That's exactly what happened to Ann and Jeremy. Their wedding was scheduled to happen when Hurricane Florence hit the Carolinas. So, they've postponed their big Southern wedding, and decided to still get married on the day originally scheduled in an intimate ceremony in Chicago, where they currently live.

I was contacted last minute due to the circumstances, and luckily, my Sunday was clear, and I was blessed to witness these two get married in front of their closest family and friends.

Ann's first look with her father left me in tears, and I'll never take it for granted that I get to document such beautiful + emotional + intimate moments like this.

Then we headed to the rooftop at the Trump Tower with the most incredible views of the city, for her first look with Jeremy. The look on his face when he saw her was the sweetest, and his adoration for her is obvious to notice. They twirled and enjoyed each other and the view for a while before we headed to the next part of their adventure.

Before the ceremony, Ann, Jeremy, and I went for a little tour around the city to take portraits at different places and it was the most beautiful, warm, and perfect day for that. Their amazing attire, along with the harsh light were the perfect match for beautiful, unique portraits.

Ann wore the most beautiful Marchesa dress and there was not a single head that didn't turn towards her when we were taking portraits around the city. She looked gorgeous, and Jeremy wore a beautiful suit and tie that complimented her dress. They looked like rockstars and what an incredible experience it was to witness them both having the most amazing day, after such a disappointment with their original wedding being postponed.

Their ceremony was the most heartfelt, full of emotional moments, with Ann’s brother as the officiant. There were beautiful prayers, laughter, and tears, followed by a powerful speech by Ann's father, Bryson. The day was just full of joy, amazing food and drinks, dancing, and laughter, and I am so thankful I've met all of these lovely people.

I truly believe that good things come out from any bad situation, and for them, it was a blessing to wed in an intimate ceremony with the ones closest to their heart. And now they will still get to live yet, another celebration of their love, in a big and southern style, just like they had dreamed of.

Congrats, Ann and Jeremy!
